The Wave incorporates a graphic image of intertwined
waves on a slowly rotating center disc which imparts
the dynamism of the Earth's oceans and tides as they
are affected by the gravitational effect of the moon.
A separate red hand indicates the stage of the tide
at the location to which it is set.
